Though the heavy rainfall forced us to cancel the 2025 Edmonton Reggae Festival, we want to send a huge thank you to all the incredible artists who were ready to bring their energy and soul to the stage.
A special shoutout to Nigy Boy, Johnny Kool, and every performer who made the journey to Edmonton with passion and dedication. Your commitment to reggae music and culture inspires us all, and we are so grateful for your support—even when the weather didn’t cooperate.
To our fans and community, thank you for standing with us through this challenging year. We’re already working hard to bring you a free, unforgettable festival in 2026 where the music will flow freely, the vibes will be high, and the spirit of reggae will shine brighter than ever.
Stay tuned, stay safe, and keep the reggae rhythm alive in your hearts until we meet again! ✊🌿🎤

As the 2025 Edmonton Reggae Festival comes to a close, the Edmonton Reggae Festival Society would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all our supporters, vendors, volunteers, and attendees. Your energy, presence, and commitment helped us build what we hoped would be a vibrant and unforgettable celebration of reggae music and culture.
Unfortunately, due to unexpected weather conditions, we were unable to move forward with our scheduled performances. While we share in the disappointment, the safety and well-being of our performers remains our top priority.
We deeply appreciate your understanding and continued support.
With gratitude,
The Edmonton Reggae Festival Society
The Edmonton Reggae Festival Society would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the City of Edmonton, SOCAN, Canadian Heritage, Do It Sandblasting, Spring Memorial, and the Canada Council for the Arts for their invaluable support and partnership.

We are deeply thankful for your belief in our vision and look forward to collaborating with you to bring back a free, unforgettable Edmonton Reggae Festival in 2026.
Together, we keep the rhythm strong! 🎶✊🌿
The impact of this year’s rain was deeply felt—attendees and performers alike were highly disappointed. Organizers remain committed to creating a meaningful and accessible event that celebrates reggae music and Caribbean culture for the entire community.
“This year was rained out, but 2026 will shine bright. Help us bring back Edmonton’s reggae rhythm stronger than ever!”
