Event Cancellation, Postponement & Severe Weather Policy
The Edmonton Reggae Festival Society is a rain-or-shine event. However, the safety of our patrons, artists, staff, volunteers, vendors, and partners remains our highest priority.
In the event of severe weather conditions, including but not limited to lightning, high winds, hail, extreme heat, wildfire smoke, flooding, or any other conditions deemed unsafe by festival management, emergency services, or local authorities, the festival schedule may be delayed, modified, temporarily suspended, evacuated, postponed, or cancelled without prior notice.
Should the event be postponed or cancelled due to circumstances beyond the control of the Edmonton Reggae Festival Society, including severe weather, public safety concerns, government orders, venue restrictions, acts of nature, or other force majeure events, ticket holders will be notified as soon as reasonably possible through our website, social media channels, and email communications.
Refunds, credits, or ticket transfers will be provided in accordance with the specific circumstances of the cancellation or postponement and at the discretion of festival management. Service fees and processing fees are non-refundable where permitted by law.
No refunds will be issued for artist lineup changes, performance schedule adjustments, weather-related delays, temporary interruptions, or partial event disruptions that do not result in a full event cancellation.
By purchasing a ticket and attending the festival, patrons acknowledge and accept the possibility of weather-related interruptions and agree to follow all instructions issued by festival staff, security personnel, emergency responders, and venue management.
The Edmonton Reggae Festival Society reserves the right to make operational changes necessary to ensure the safety and success of the event.
