Are you a local reggae, ska, or roots music artist based in Edmonton or Alberta? We want to hear from you! Submissions are now open for performance slots at the 2026 Edmonton Reggae Festival.
The Edmonton Reggae Festival Society is officially opening submissions for local and regional artists who want to perform at the 2026 Edmonton Reggae Festival. We are committed to platforming Alberta talent alongside our headliners, and we want to hear from you.
We welcome submissions from artists and bands performing in any reggae-adjacent genre, including roots reggae, dancehall, ska, rocksteady, dub, reggaeton, and reggae-influenced hip-hop, R&B, or soul. We especially encourage submissions from Black, Indigenous, and artists of colour, as well as emerging artists who have not yet performed at a major Edmonton festival.
To apply, visit our Call for Submissions page and fill out the application form. You'll be asked to provide your artist name, genre, a short bio, links to your music (SoundCloud, Spotify, YouTube, or similar), and a note about why you'd like to perform at the festival. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so we encourage you to submit as early as possible.
Selected artists will be notified by June 1, 2026. Performance slots range from 20 to 45 minutes depending on the stage and time slot. All performing artists receive a performance fee, festival credentials, and promotion across our social media channels and website. The submission deadline is May 15, 2026. We can't wait to hear what you've been working on.
